Crackers : The first attempt
I might have tried making crackers once before, but am not sure. I want a simple snack for the baby and the rest of us without strange ingredients. These are the Little Salted Biscuits from Bernard Clayton's Complete Book of Breads made with some whole wheat flour. The dough was very soft and almost like play-dough. Next time I will make them thinner (you were right Mystie) and watch them a little more closely toward the end of baking, some of them got too toasted. They are tasty. I will make them again as soon as I buy more butter.
