Christmas Eve
For breakfast we had cornmeal waffles with blueberry "compost" (that's what the kids call compote, I don't want to correct them) and whipped cream. The morning was spent assembling puzzles and playing with the aunts. We had our Christmas coffee in the early afternoon. We went to the Christmas Eve service at the Lutheran church and Nora went boldly up to the front when the kids were invited to listen to the Christmas story. Instead of our usual dinner of pizza, we had appetizers this year. The kids each opened one present. After the kids went to bed there was food prepared for the next day, present wrapping, peppermint pattie making instruction, and the baking of gingerbread house parts.

Nice outfit in the last photo! Quite stylish.
Blueberry compost. Ha. I love it. Can you print Google calendar(s)?
