After our exercise the kids and I came home to finish cooking. Maryann drove over and made it in time for lunch. I made festive mashed potatoes (peeled!) with the ricer that is on long-term loan from my sister.
After lunch there was game playing and napping and reading and relaxing.
Desserts with coffee in the afternoon and turkey sandwiches in the evening. A good day with family remembering all we have to be thankful for.
This is something that we started to call Henry after a conversation about pre-birth names for Helena. We called Nora "Butterbean" and Henry "Urho" before they had actual names. We were asking Nora what we should call a new baby and she suggested "Bad Guy Danger." Well, it was too funny not to use immediately and it became a nickname for Henry. Of course, as Nora mentioned later, "Henry isn't really a bad guy."
