Saturday

We live near a wintering spot for bald eagles and on Saturdays they let people in to the park to see them. We spotted quite a few of the 40 that are currently there and learned a little about these amazing birds. They have wingspans of 5-7 feet and are 40 inches tall. They get the white "bald" head feathers around 5 years of age. The nests they build on the islands in the river are 10 feet across and can weigh 2000 lbs!
And Nora lost her first tooth this morning!

More fun

Today we all got to see our Marshwiggle. We thought the kids might like to be there when we found out if the new baby would be a brother or sister. Everyone did really well and it was fun to hear the news together. Everything looks as it should and we pray that a healthy girl will be born in June.
