This charming Paper City was a hit here this afternoon. The big kids colored during rest time and then we cut out the figures and they've been playing happily since then.
I like this a lot and made one with Nathaniel this afternoon. He felt really special and is playing with it now. I am not so good at folding though so things look a little cock-eyed. Also, if you check out his sight a little more there is a foldable paper cowboy scene. ~Julie
This is something that we started to call Henry after a conversation about pre-birth names for Helena. We called Nora "Butterbean" and Henry "Urho" before they had actual names. We were asking Nora what we should call a new baby and she suggested "Bad Guy Danger." Well, it was too funny not to use immediately and it became a nickname for Henry. Of course, as Nora mentioned later, "Henry isn't really a bad guy."

He has a lot of fun ideas and projects! We made the wood block "stilts" this week too.
